CARPOOL MAX

Terms of Use

Last updated 2026-08-29

What this app is

Carpool Max is a coordination tool: who is driving, who is riding, and where and when pickups happen. It counts the rides each family gives and takes so the sharing stays even.

It is not a transport, ride-hailing, or supervision service. Every driving arrangement is a private agreement between the families in your group. Carpool Max does not vet drivers, check licences or insurance, or verify anyone’s identity.

Your responsibilities

Names and identity

Anyone who opens the invitation link can pick a name from the roster, with no password. That is what makes the app usable by a whole group in an evening, and it means identity is self-selected and only as trustworthy as the people you gave the link to.

Signing in with Google claims a name for that account, so nobody else can take it and you can open the carpool on another device.

No warranty

The app is provided as it is, without warranties of any kind. Schedules can be wrong, notifications can be late or never arrive, and the service can be unavailable. To the fullest extent the law allows, the people who make Carpool Max are not liable for any loss arising from your use of it or from any arrangement made through it.

Getting in touch

Questions about any of this, or about what is held on you, go to carpoolmax@carpoolmax.com. To delete your account and what it holds without asking anyone, use the account deletion page.

Changes

If these terms change in a way that matters, the app will ask you to agree again.
